In a crucial development for medical aspirants across the state, Pt. BD Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHSR), Rohtak, Haryana, has officially commenced the registration process for Round 3 of NEET PG 2025 counselling. The registration window opened on January 27, offering a vital opportunity for candidates vying for postgraduate medical seats.
This latest round of counselling is meticulously designed to address the remaining vacant seats in highly sought-after postgraduate medical programmes. These include Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Post-MBBS Diplomate of National Board (DNB), and various diploma courses. The initiative aims to ensure that no deserving seat goes unfilled after the conclusion of the previous counselling phases, providing a final push for eligible candidates to secure their academic future.
The Department of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana, is the organising body overseeing this intricate counselling process. Their commitment is to ensure transparency and efficiency throughout the selection and allotment procedures.
Candidates who have successfully qualified NEET PG 2025 and meet the specified Haryana state eligibility criteria are strongly encouraged to participate. The entire counselling journey, encompassing registration, choice filling, and seat locking, is conducted exclusively online. All critical updates, including important notifications, comprehensive merit lists, and final seat allotment results, will be disseminated through the official Haryana NEET PG counselling portal. Aspirants are advised to regularly monitor this platform for the latest information.
Prospective participants for Round 3 must meticulously complete their online registration and choice locking processes before the stipulated deadline. Timeliness is paramount, as late submissions will not be entertained. Following this, the highly anticipated seat allotment result for this round is slated for announcement on February 8, 2025. The allotment mechanism will critically consider a candidate's NEET PG rank, the availability of seats across various institutions, prevailing reservation policies, and the preferences submitted by the candidates during the choice-filling stage.
A mandatory online counselling fee must be paid by all applicants intending to participate. For state quota seats within government and government-aided colleges, a fee of Rs 25,000 is applicable. However, a significant concession has been made for Haryana domicile candidates belonging to the SC, SCD, BCA, BCB, EWS, and PwBD categories, who are required to pay a reduced fee of Rs 12,500. Furthermore, candidates aspiring for both state quota and management quota seats in private medical schools or universities will need to pay a registration fee of Rs 2 lakh. It is imperative to note that failure to remit the required fees will automatically lead to the disqualification of the candidate from the Round 3 counselling process.
Candidates who have previously registered for Round 1 or Round 2 are not required to undergo the registration process again. However, those who secured seat allotments in earlier rounds and wish to explore potential upgrades must explicitly express their willingness through the online system. Failure to do so will preclude them from any upgrade considerations in Round 3.
This final round represents a critical juncture for many medical hopefuls. Candidates are urged to meticulously review all guidelines, adhere strictly to deadlines, and ensure all required documentation and fees are submitted promptly to avoid any last-minute complications.
